Open Source Definition

The following are some conditions to term a software as open source (all of the conditions are not mentioned here)

1. Source code for every software should be provided for it's further development.

2. Free Redistribution i.e, no charge should be applied on the further redistribution of the software.

3. Derived works i.e, further development of the software should be allowed.

4. The original code i.e, the author's source code be always be available with the derived code.

5. License must not restrict other softwares.
